TITLE: PRODUCT OWNER (AWS ARCHITECT)
DURATION: 6-12 MONTHS
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS: REMOTE TO START
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
- Responsible to define the product vision, provide domain expertise, build, and manage product and release backlogs
- Responsible for creating solutions that provide quality information to enable analytic business decisions
- Manage the project progress at each iteration and report project status
- Review user stories, acceptance criteria and manage sprint backlog
- Planning the release from start to completion involving deadlines, milestones, and processes
- Coordinate with offshore team and look for delivery pitfalls and help the team by clearing any impediments for successful sprint delivery
- Facilitate requirement gathering and create the Epics and Features working with the client.
- Product Owners and other customer stakeholders.
- Lead User Acceptance Testing events and ensure team deliverables are ready for UAT.
- Participate in Governance Steering Committee meetings.
YOU'LL BE SUCCESSFUL IF:
- Prioritize features and defects in a sprint
- Prior experience in Client Management
- Release/Sprint planning experience
- Knowledge of Product Management
- Knowledge of healthcare SME and facilitate requirement gathering
- Ability create the Epics and Features
WHAT YOU'LL BRING:
- Background with development and able to review code to keep development teams on course.
- Bachelor's degree; preferably in Computer Science or Business.
- At least 3 years of experience working as Product Owner.
- AWS Architect with background in project management required.
- Must have 1-year experience working in healthcare IT.
- Hands on experience of Amazon Redshift Architecture.
- Good knowledge on AWS environment and service knowledge with S3 storage understanding.
- Six Sigma certification is a bonus.
- Must have a proactive work ethic, desire to challenge the status quo, and an attitude that focuses on the voice of the customer.
