    POSITION OVERVIEW:

    In this key role, the Head of Talent Acquisition and People will develop recruiting strategies and provide full-cycle recruiting for project based contract / temporary talent as well as full time employees. In addition, this role will collaborate with our professional employer organization (PEO), to provide Human Resources support for our organization and employees.

    This is an exciting opportunity to lead the growth of an industry leader in post-advertising specializing in community engagement and brand awareness.  

     

    What you’ll be doing:

    • Lead full cycle recruiting efforts to source, hire, and retain an optimal team of temporary employees and freelance contractors.

    • Collaborate with internal Business Development and Production teams to forecast, identify, allocate, and manage people resources for short term and long-term client projects.

    • Develop key talent pipelines of freelance contractors and full-time candidates for current and future projects and opportunities.

    • Develop the strategy and execution of the recruiting brand that engages candidates for current and future openings.

    • Develop programs that enhance the candidate experience, improve the recruiting and onboarding process and develop strategic recruiting metrics to identify recruiting opportunities and improvements.

    • Provide support, coaching, training and advice to managers and staff on all human resource issues including Compliance, Worker Classifications, Leaves of Absence (LOA’s) and other human resources policies.

     

    What we’re looking for:

    • 7+ years of strategic full-cycle recruiting / people resourcing experience, filling full time and freelance contractor / temporary positions such as Creative Director, Production Assistant, Experience Designer, Graphic Designer, and Executive Producers, etc. 

    • Ability to anticipate project resources and staffing needs through proactive collaboration with our Business Development and Production team leaders is a must.

    • Creative and proficient use of various candidate sourcing tools (ex. LinkedIn, social media, industry contacts, industry associations, blogs, etc.).

    • Ability to manage multiple conflicting priorities and re-prioritize on the fly.

    • Experience working in a high-volume recruiting environment such as creative, marketing, experiential or similar agency experience or experience working in a Temporary or Contract employment Agency or corporate Vendor Management recruiting environment is a plus.

    • Experience with employment branding, developing recruiting metrics, process and systems improvements is a plus.

    • Knowledge of worker classification and filing; exempt, non-exempt, temporary, independent contractor, employee, 1099, W2, W4, etc.

    • Solid knowledge of Human Resources compliance relative to Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO), disability accommodation requests, coordinating and documenting leaves of absence (LOA’s) under various federal and state statutes and other human resources policies.
