    We are currently seeking a skilled Network Administrator to join our team located in the beautiful city of Santa Barbara, California. This position is only open to applicants who are residing in the local area. It is a full-time, permanent role based at our headquarters. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge and experience in IP routing and switching and a strong enthusiasm for expanding their skills in IP/WAN engineering within the workplace and communications sectors. Responsibilities: • Administer, configure, and troubleshoot networks in a 24/7 operational setting in Santa Barbara, CA, US • Provide technical support on a 24/7 basis while overseeing and configuring the networks • Ensure the reliability of the network infrastructure for both ISP's customers and HQ staff through continuous monitoring and maintenance • Guarantee the dependability of the networks for both ISP's customers and staff through ongoing monitoring and maintenance • Collaborate with the Implementation Experts to plan system upgrades for customers and ensure compliance with maintenance and security standards • Work together with Implementation Experts to arrange system improvements for customers and ensure adherence to maintenance and security standards • Manage multiple projects and serve as the escalation point in the Technical Assistance Center when necessary • Act as the primary contact in the Technical Assistance Center and handle various tasks • Identify customer technical project needs by communicating with the Sales Team • Determine customer technical project requirements through discussions with the Sales Team • Optimize the network and analyze equipment requirements by closely collaborating with the Executive Staff and network designer • Maximize the functioning capacity of the network and investigate equipment necessities by communicating and cooperating with the Executive Staff and network designer • Provide in-person technical assistance at customer sites as required Qualifications: • Proficient in IP routing protocols such as BGP and OSPF • Extensive knowledge of internet/wide area/local area network technologies including 802.1Q, QoS, Subnetting, IPv4/6 • Experience with voice-over IP technologies, PBX, key systems, IP Centrex • Highly reliable and motivated individual • Excellent presentation and communication skills • Self-directed and capable of working independently or collaboratively • Possesses a Cisco certification (CCST, CCNA, or CCNP) Compensation: $25 - $40 hourly
