    We are looking for a skilled Network Admin to join our organization in Santa Barbara. Please do not apply unless you are in the Santa Barbara area. This is a full-time in-office position. The ideal candidate will be proficient in IP routing and switching and eager to learn more about high-level IP/WAN engineering in both corporate and carrier settings. Responsibilities: • Responsible for maintaining internal networks in a 24/7 operational environment • Install, monitor, troubleshoot, and maintain ISP's Central Offices, Data Centers, Points of Presence, and HQ infrastructure • Troubleshoot and resolve network and voice application issues • Ensure the integrity of the ISP's network infrastructure for both customers and HQ staff • Conduct remote monitoring and troubleshooting of customer network equipment managed by the ISP in accordance with SLAs • Schedule and administer customer system upgrades while maintaining facilities maintenance and security • Collaborate with the Implementation Team to configure customer equipment before installation • Act as a Technical Assistance Center escalation point as necessary and multitask multiple projects • Interact with the Sales Team to establish customer technical project requirements • Work closely with the Executive Staff and network architect to optimize the network and determine equipment needs • Attend on-site regularly and predictably to perform essential functions of the position • Participate in an after-hours on-call rotation and adhere to a Mon-Fri 08:00 - 17:00 shift • May be required to dispatch on customer premises for technical support • May be called upon to act as a team lead during projects or incident management Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty at an elevated level. Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions. • Knowledge of IP routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, etc.) • Knowledge of Internet/WAN/LAN technologies (802.1Q, QoS, Subnetting, IPv4/6) • Basic knowledge of VOIP technologies, PBX, key systems, IP Centrex • Discipline and dedication • Good presentation and communication skills • Ability to work both independently as well as on teams • Cisco certification preferred (CCST, CCNA, or CCNP) Compensation: $25 - $40 hourly
