Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and patient In-Home Aide to provide high-quality care for a client with Dementia. This role focuses on enhancing the client's quality of life through companionship, physical assistance, and specialized memory support. We are looking for a caregiver who understands the unique challenges of dementia and can provide a safe, calm, and engaging environment.

Key Responsibilities

Specialized Care: Manage dementia-related behaviors with patience and redirection.

Daily Assistance: Help with personal hygiene (bathing/dressing), mobility, and physical exercises.

Meal Prep & Meds: Prepare nutritious meals and provide medication reminders.

Home Support: Light housekeeping, laundry, and maintaining a clean living space.

Transportation: Provide safe transport for errands, shopping, and appointments.

Requirements & Qualifications

Experience: Proven experience in Dementia or Alzheimer’s care is required.

CNA Certification: Highly preferred (but not required).

Health & Safety: Must have a Current TB Test, plus CPR and First Aid certifications.

Transportation: Valid Driver’s License and current Auto Insurance are mandatory.

Physical Ability: Must be able to assist with transfers and lift heavy objects.

Personal Traits: Compassionate, ethical, and tolerant of small pets.
