Schedule: 18 Hours Per Week (Fixed Schedule)

Mon & Fri: 10:00 AM – 1:30 PM

Tue & Thu: 7:30 AM – 11:00 AM

Wednesday: 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM

Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable, grounded, and experienced In-Home Care Aide to assist an older male client in Matthews, NC. This role is ideal for a seasoned caregiver who enjoys a stable, one-on-one environment and takes pride in providing high-quality, professional support. The client is largely independent but requires specific technical assistance with catheter care and daily health management.

Key Responsibilities

Specialized Care: Assist with catheter maintenance, including cleaning and emptying.

Health Advocacy: Manage the client’s schedule to ensure no missed doctor appointments and provide consistent medication reminders.

Personal Support: Assist with bathing, grooming, and dressing with a focus on dignity and comfort.

Meal Prep & Housekeeping: Prepare nutritious meals and perform light housekeeping to maintain a safe, tidy home.

Companionship: Provide a calm, professional, and supportive presence.

Requirements & Qualifications

Experience: Minimum 5+ years of professional caregiving experience preferred. We are looking for a "seasoned" professional with a stable work history.

Technical Skill: Direct experience with catheter care is required.

CNA Certification: Preferred, but not required for highly experienced candidates.

Compliance: Must have a Current TB Test, CPR/First Aid certification, and be at least 18 years of age.

Transportation: Valid Driver’s License and current Auto Insurance are mandatory.

Physical Ability: Must be able to assist with mobility and transfers as needed.

Attributes: Punctual, ethical, and patient.
