Saba Home Health is seeking dependable, highly professional non-medical caregivers / personal attendants for a private-home client needing assistance with daily living, safety supervision, companionship, and mobility support.

This is a Texas Personal Assistance Services position. The services are non-medical and unskilled. Caregivers will follow the agency care plan and will not perform skilled nursing tasks.

We are hiring for two consistent part-time positions:

    Position A — Weekday Evening Caregiver Monday–Friday 3:00 PM–7:00 PM 20 hours per week

Position B — Weekend Day Caregiver Saturday and Sunday 7:00 AM–7:00 PM 24 hours per week

Applicants may apply for one or both schedules, but we are primarily seeking two consistent caregivers for continuity of care.

This is a W-2 hourly, non-exempt position. Overtime, if applicable, is paid in accordance with wage-and-hour requirements.

    Ideal Candidate

The ideal caregiver will be calm, patient, reliable, polished, and experienced working with older adults who need memory-care support, redirection, fall precautions, and hands-on assistance with daily activities.

Medication reminders only, if included in the care plan and allowed by agency policy

Following the written care plan and reporting changes or concerns to the agency

This position does not include skilled nursing, wound care, injections, medication administration, therapy, clinical assessments, or any task outside the agency’s service plan.

    No strong fragrance

Limited personal phone use while on shift

    Calm, respectful, professional communication

Visible tattoos covered while on shift

Visible facial piercings or non-essential facial jewelry removed or covered while on shift, unless an approved accommodation applies

This assignment is best suited for someone with a polished, traditional, client-facing presentation and excellent manners.

    Must have caregiving experience

Dementia or memory-care experience strongly preferred

Must be comfortable assisting with mobility and fall precautions

    Must pass required background checks

Must be able to follow agency policies and care plan

CNA experience is a plus, but not required

Must maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times

Pay: $12–$14/hour depending on experience, availability, and assignment fit. Higher end reserved for strong dementia/memory-care experience, weekend availability, reliability, and professional presentation.
