    Senior Helpers of Northeast Wisconsin is seeking a compassionate, patient, and dependable Experienced Home Care Caregiver to provide personalized one-on-one support for a client in the Oshkosh area.

    Experience supporting individuals with Down syndrome is strongly preferred. We also encourage applicants with experience in developmental disabilities, intellectual disabilities, behavioral support, special needs care, or other person-centered caregiving roles.

    What You'll Do

    Build a trusting, supportive relationship with the client

    Encourage independence while providing appropriate assistance

    Assist with personal care and daily living activities

    Support routines, hobbies, recreation, and community involvement

    Prepare meals and assist with light housekeeping

    Provide transportation to appointments and activities

    Maintain a safe, structured, and positive environment

    Monitor well-being and communicate updates with the care team

    Deliver compassionate, respectful, person-centered care

    Qualifications

    Experience supporting individuals with Down syndrome strongly preferred

    Experience with developmental or intellectual disabilities highly valued

    Previous caregiving experience preferred

    Compassionate, patient, dependable, and professional

    Strong communication and relationship-building skills

    Must be at least 18 years old

    Valid driver's license required

    Reliable vehicle with current auto insurance

    Ability to pass a background check
