    1. Job Description & Duties
    • Provide compassionate personal care in clients’ homes (bathing, grooming, dressing, mobility assistance, meal prep)

    • Monitor and document client health status; report any changes promptly to the care team

    • Follow tailored care plans developed by our Certified Geriatric Care Managers

    • Communicate effectively and empathetically with clients’ families and other healthcare professionals

    • Maintain accurate records of services provided and client progress

    1. Compensation & Value Package / Benefits

    Note: A minimum 90% attendance rate (with certain exceptions) is required to earn bonuses and perks.

    • Starting Pay: $18/hr

    • Shift Differentials: +$2/hr for weekends & nights; +$3/hr on major holidays

    • Overtime Pay: 1.3× base rate for any hours over 40 in a workweek (automatic, no prior approval needed)

    • Daily Pay Option: Paid via partner vendor—either direct deposit to your bank account or to your debit card immediately after each shift upon client sign-off and manager approval

    • Bi-Weekly Payroll: Direct deposit for base wages, PTO, mileage, parking/tolls hits your account every other Friday

    • $1,000 Structured Signing Bonus (vested over 16 weeks):

    2 weeks (14 days): $200 (90% attendance required; no payout if you leave before day 14)

    8 weeks (42 days): $300 (90% attendance; you retain the $200 if you depart early)

    16 weeks (112 days): $500 (fully vested; no clawback after week 16)

    • Flexible Scheduling & Guaranteed Hours: Choose preferred days or neighborhoods; 20 hrs/week minimum guaranteed

    • Shift Length Guarantees: Minimum 4 hrs, maximum 12 hrs per shift

    • Mileage Reimbursement: $0.50/mile for shifts where client address is over 10 miles from your official address on record

    • Parking & Toll Reimbursement: Covered when applicable, paid with your regular paycheck

    • Health Insurance: Employer–employee shared medical plans, plus vision & dental options

    • Workers’ Compensation: Fully covered for any on-the-job injury

    • Paid Time Off: Earn 1 day of paid vacation (and sick leave) each month with ≥ 90% attendance; unused days may roll over up to 5 days annually

    • Career Path & Education Support:

    Roadmap to become a Certified Geriatric Care Manager (up to $85K/yr)

    Coverage for CNA renewals, CPR recerts, and specialty courses

    • Wellness Stipend: $200/year after 1 year of service and a minimum of 150 hours served

    • Uniform Stipend: One-time $50 reimbursement for navy scrub purchase

    Attendance Exceptions

    • Doctor’s notes for appointments or illness do not count against your 90%

    • Severe life emergencies (e.g., bereavement) will be excused on a case-by-case basis by your manager, with written approval provided within 2 business days

    A: We perform background checks and drug screenings at no cost. You must already possess a current TB/PPD (or chest x-ray), COVID vaccination, a recent flu shot, and First Aid/CPR certification.

    A: We use the address you provide during onboarding. Managers monitor changes to ensure fair reimbursement.

    Q: When and how is mileage and parking/toll reimbursed?

    A: Submit your mileage and parking logs bi-weekly; reimbursement appears on your bi-weekly direct deposit.

    Q: What qualifies as a “severe emergency”?

    A: Your manager evaluates each case and issues written approval within 2 business days.

    Q: What if my shift is canceled?

    A: We’ll notify you at least 2 hours beforehand. If not, you’ll receive 50% of your hourly rate for the planned shift duration.

    Q: Are uniforms provided?

    A: You’re responsible for purchasing standard navy scrubs; submit your receipt for a one-time $50 stipend. Gloves and masks are provided as needed.

    Note: This amount will be deducted from your final check if you quit before 16 weeks.

    A: No—mileage reimbursement over 10 miles covers commute costs.

    Q: How are holiday requests handled?
