Job Title: In-Home Caregiver/Direct Care Worker

Job Description:

Mighty Caregivers Homecare Agency is seeking reliable and professional In-Home Direct Care Workers to provide non-medical support services to clients in their homes. This position requires consistency, adhere to care plans, and the ability to work independently while maintaining agency standards.

This is a non-medical position. Duties focus on personal care, daily living assistance, and companionship.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide personal care assistance, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Assist clients with mobility and physical activities such as walking, transferring, and exercise routines.
• Administer medication as directed and ensure adherence to prescribed regimens.
• Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe living environment.
• Prepare and serve nutritious meals according to clients' dietary needs and preferences.
• Offer companionship and support, actively engaging clients in social and recreational activities.
• Monitor clients’ health and report any changes or concerns to the appropriate healthcare professionals or family members.
• Maintain accurate records of services provided and document any significant observations.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certification/training in caregiving is a plus
• Previous experience in home care, caregiving, or a similar role is preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a keen sense of empathy and patience.
• Ability to manage time effectively and work independently in a client-focused environment.
• Physical capability to assist clients with mobility needs and perform household tasks.
• Valid driver’s license and personal vehicle are required
