Job Summary
The In-Home Sales Representative is responsible for meeting with clients in their homes to provide financial protection and insurance solutions tailored to their needs. This role focuses on building long-term client relationships, generating new business opportunities, and helping families with life insurance, retirement planning, and financial security products.
The ideal candidate is self-motivated, customer-focused, and comfortable working independently while achieving sales goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct in-home appointments with prospective and existing clients
- Analyze customer financial needs and recommend appropriate insurance products
- Educate clients on life insurance, health insurance, retirement, and financial planning options
- Generate leads through referrals, networking, and company-provided opportunities
- Maintain strong relationships with policyholders through regular follow-ups
- Complete applications, policy paperwork, and documentation accurately
- Meet weekly and annual sales performance goals
- Participate in ongoing training, licensing, and professional development programs
- Maintain compliance with company and state insurance regulations
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Previous sales or customer service experience preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
- Self-driven with strong organizational skills
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- State Life & Health Insurance License required or willingness to obtain licensing
