PRN Weekday & Weekend Caregiver Right at Home | Albuquerque, NM

We’re hiring PRN (per diem/on-call) Caregivers for Monday- Friday 8 -12 day shifts or Friday–Saturday 8–12 hour day shifts.. Our PRN team members are our go-to professionals—trusted, capable, and ready to step in when families need support most.

This role is ideal for caregivers with 1+ year of professional experience and CNAs who want flexible scheduling while continuing to build hands-on skills.

As a PRN caregiver, you are essential. When a last-minute shift needs coverage, families are counting on you. We’re looking for dependable professionals who can confidently step into a client’s home and provide safe, compassionate care—sometimes with short notice.

At least 1 year of professional caregiving experience is required. CNAs are strongly encouraged to apply.

You must be able to arrive within one hour of being staffed for on-call shifts.

💛 What You’ll Do

Assist with bathing, grooming, and personal hygiene

Support safe transfers and repositioning

Provide skilled care for bed-bound clients

Deliver compassionate memory care

Safely operate a Hoyer lift (paid training available if needed)

Monitor and record vital signs (temperature, pulse, respiration, blood pressure)

Provide care within Right at Home’s scope of service

Drive to and from client homes throughout Albuquerque

🎯 What We’re Looking For

1+ year of professional caregiving experience (required)

CNA experience strongly encouraged

High school diploma or GED

18 years or older

Valid driver’s license, insured & reliable vehicle

2–3 professional references

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

Comfortable navigating with GPS

Ability to report to shifts within one hour of being staffed

Strong communication skills and a dependable, professional attitude
