As an In-House Beverage Service Level II Technician, you will be pivotal in serving and repairing frozen beverage, coffee, and powdered cappuccino machines within corporate facility. The Coffee Equipment Refurbishing Technician is responsible for restoring used and/or faulty commercial and domestic coffee equipment to optimal working condition. This includes cleaning, diagnosing issues, repairing, and testing a variety of coffee equipment like coffee brewers, powdered cappuccino machines, coffee grinders, slushie machines etc.
Key Responsibilities
Inspection & Diagnosis
Receive, inspect, and assess coffee equipment for refurbishment.
Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults using specialized tools and testing equipment.
Repair & Refurbishment
Disassemble, clean, repair, and replace worn or faulty parts (e.g., pumps, boilers, valves, gaskets, wiring).
Reassemble units and calibrate equipment to manufacturer specifications.
Perform upgrades and install new components as required.
Testing & Quality Assurance
Run equipment through various operational tests to ensure full functionality, safety, and adherence to quality standards.
Document all work performed and maintain accurate records.
Maintenance & Inventory
Maintain an organized, clean, and safe work environment.
Manage parts inventory and assist with ordering required components.
Customer Support (as needed)
Provide feedback on repairs or potential concerns to service coordinators or directly to clients.
Occasionally assist with technical support inquiries.
On-Site Support
Occasionally perform on-site installation of new coffee equipment and removal of old or faulty units, ensuring proper setup, calibration, and client satisfaction.

Work Schedule:
Days: Monday - Friday
Hours: 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM
Qualifications:
Proven experience with frozen beverage equipment, including slushie machines, ICEE machines, and FBD machines, as well as coffee and powdered cappuccino machines.
Familiarity with wiring diagrams and strong problem-solving skills.
Previous experience refurbishing or repairing coffee equipment or small appliances a plus.
Ability to read technical manuals, wiring diagrams, and schematics.
Good manual dexterity and comfort using hand and power tools.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong communication and time management skills.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and be on feet for extended periods.
Comfortable working with cleaning agents, lubricants, and occasionally small parts.
