Position Summary:

The Social Worker ensures that emotional and social needs of patients and their family's are met and maintained in accordance with facility guidelines and federal/state regulations. In addition, they are sensitive to the patient's social, ethnic, religious, and cultural needs. The Medical Social Worker collaborates with other healthcare providers to assess and plan interventions that address any issues impacting the patient's care.

Position Qualifications:

Master of Social Work (MSW) degree from a school of social work accredited by the Council on Social Work Education; or Baccalaureate Degree in Social Work from an institution accredited by the Council on Social Work.

One-year social work experience in a healthcare setting preferred.

Excellent communication skills.

Current CPR certification.

Current Drivers License and proof of automobile insurance.
