    Your Role: As a Healthcare Data Analyst at The Good Shepherd, you transform numbers into impact.     What You’ll Do:

    Reporting & Compliance

    Prepare and submit recurring reports for UDS, PCMH, HEDIS, HRSA, and internal dashboards.

    Ensure timely, accurate reporting aligned with grant, regulatory, and accreditation standards.

    Support audits, compliance needs, and ad hoc reporting requests.

    Operational & Financial Analytics

    Analyze cost, productivity, and access metrics across departments.

    Create monthly/quarterly performance reports on provider metrics, schedule utilization, payer mix, and more.

    Partner with operations and finance to drive informed decision-making.

    Quality & Care Management Support

    Provide analytic support for care management and population health efforts.

    Track care gaps, outcomes, and trends in clinical quality metrics like HEDIS and UDS.

    Identify areas for improvement and collaborate with teams to address variation.

    Dashboard Development & Monitoring

    Build and maintain dynamic dashboards that monitor KPIs at every level.

    Create intuitive visuals that help teams understand and act on key performance data.

    Track trends, flag concerns, and recommend solutions based on data insights.

    Cross-Departmental Collaboration

    Train and support teams in understanding and using reports, dashboards, and data tools.

    Translate complex data into clear, actionable insights for clinical and non-clinical audiences.

    Align data efforts with organizational goals and evolving healthcare initiatives.

    What We’re Looking For:

    Skills & Experience

    Bachelor’s degree in data analytics, public health, healthcare admin, or a related field.

    3+ years of data analysis experience, including at least 1 year in a healthcare setting.

    Proficient in Power BI or Tableau, advanced Excel, and EHR data/reporting tools.

    Understanding of UDS, HEDIS, PCMH, and clinical performance metrics.

    Experience with SQL and healthcare reporting platforms is a plus.

    Preferred Experience

    Background in Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs) or value-based care models.

    Familiarity with care management, population health, and social determinants of health.

    Exposure to quality improvement or project management frameworks (e.g., PDSA, Lean, Six Sigma).
