    Guide Students to Success!

Make a positive difference every day you go to work by teaming up with The Tutorverse! We're all about creating and delivering innovative educational services and products that students need to succeed.

The Tutorverse is hiring an experienced Grade 9-12 General Academic Support Tutor (In-person) in the NYC area to help our students achieve!

    Requirements
    - Tutoring Experience: Applicants must have at least 10 years' teaching/tutoring experience.
    - Content Experience: Applicants must have experience supporting students in multiple areas -- math, English, science, and history
    - Location: Applicants must be available to travel to students for in-person instruction within NYC, but primarily in Manhattan.
    - Tech fluency: Since many in-person families are occasionally unable to meet in person, we will be asking you to deliver lessons via Zoom as you might with a real tutoring client - think of this like role playing with your interviewer being a student.

Benefits of being a Test Prep Expert with The Tutorverse
    - Flexible schedule: Work as many hours as you want!
    - In-person hourly rate of $90-100: We appreciate the experience that you bring to the role, and we compensate you as such!
    - No micromanagement: You're experienced and knowledgeable, so teach your content, your way!
    - Help with the boring stuff: We find the clients, help with scheduling, and enforce our cancellation policy all so you can focus on what you love to do - teach.

Additional Qualities You Bring to the Table
We're searching high and low for a reliable, organized, and experienced Test Prep Expert who is passionate and approachable. Our ideal candidate is:
    - Dynamic and Engaging: You should be able to hold your own in front of students and deliver content in a dynamic and engaging manner.
    - Experienced and has a Bachelor's Degree: We make a promise to our families that our instructors are truly experts in their respective fields, so we ask that you have a bachelor's degree from a 4-year college or university, as well as five years of post-collegiate grade 5-12 teaching experience.

    Bonus Points If...
You have experience helping students with entrance exams as well!
Tests include, but are not limited to:
    - SAT, ACT, ISEE, SSAT, SHSAT, HSPT, TACHS
