The production floor is dynamic, with different products and processes under way each day. This IPQC Technician will serve a critical role in making sure that proper procedures, materials, tools, workflows, QC checks, and safety protocols are being used throughout the production floor each day.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

Check that workers have proper PPE for given tasks

    Conduct work area safety checks

    Defect Management:

Identify manufacturing defects as early as possible, documenting and reporting, separating for rework or scrap, and problem-solving with Production Manager to avoid future errors

Enforce 10-10-10 quality checks in all production areas and processes – QC check after first 10 units are produced, QC check 10 units in the middle of workflow, QC at least 10% of finished goods, increasing to 100% depending on product type

Help build and encourage culture of “check-do-check” that involves each worker in the quality control process

    Equipment & Tool Verification:

Ensure that the correct tools, materials, adhesives, cleaners, settings, and other equipment are present and being correctly used for each operation/station

    Data Recording:

Log inspection data, defect rates, scrap reports, and other QC data in ERP system per work order

    Process Improvement:

Help document defect issues, problem-solve root causes, and ensure that changes were implemented to avoid the same or similar issues in the future

Assist with process and product improvement, participating in Product 360 reviews for continual improvement

    Other Areas as Needed:

Assist Production Manager with restructuring of production workflows from batch to assembly line model

Help create and post the correct procedures at relevant stations for each workflow

Assist with stocking of stations with correct tools and materials, and with the design of stations with proper ergonomics for the tasks performed at that station

Help with purchasing of consumables for production

Assist Warehouse and Shipping as needed

Assist with production of Branded Gear which moved to in-house DTF transfer and sublimation printing in 2026
