Responsibilities: Order Delivery: Transport food and beverage orders from the kitchen to guest rooms accurately and in a timely manner. Room Setup: Set up food trays or rolling carts inside the guest room according to hotel standards. Order Taking: Answer room service phone calls, record orders, and use up-selling techniques to promote menu items. Tray Retrieval: Return to guest rooms and hallways to pick up used trays, carts, and dishware. Payment Processing: Present accurate checks, handle guest charges, and process payments. Station Maintenance: Restock side-work areas, polish glassware, roll silverware, and make coffee or tea. Qualifications: Communication: Speak clearly and maintain a polite, professional, and discreet demeanor. Physical Stamina: Stand or walk for long shifts, and lift or push heavy food trays and carts (up to 25–50 lbs).
