    Job Description: Microsoft Exchange Architect

    **This is a 1099 Independent Contractor role with no benefits. We can only accept USC and Green Card holders. No C2C and we are unable to sponsor. You will need to pass an extensive background check and drug test as our client is in the financial industry.

    We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Microsoft Exchange Architect to assist our client in a large on-premises migration project. As a Microsoft Exchange Engineer, you will be responsible for the design, implementation, and migration of our clients Microsoft Exchange Server environments. You will work closely with our client's IT team to ensure the availability, security, and optimal performance of the email infrastructure.

    Responsibilities:
    - Lead, plan and execute an Exchange server migration project from on-premises to Exchange Online, utilizing tools such as BitTitan as needed.
    - Collaborate and assist with a Microsoft Teams deployment pilot as needed.
    - Collaborate with other IT teams on infrastructure projects that may impact the Exchange environment, providing expertise and guidance.
    - Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, best practices, and technologies related to Microsoft Exchange Server and other collaboration technologies.
    - Actively participate in team meetings, sharing knowledge and expertise with colleagues.

    Requirements:
    - Minimum of 5 years of experience working as a Microsoft Exchange Engineer or a similar role.
    - In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Exchange Server (2013/2016/2019) architecture, including high availability, disaster recovery, and hybrid configurations.
    - Strong proficiency in Active Directory, DNS, and related technologies.
    - Experience with messaging technologies, such as SMTP, POP3, IMAP, and MAPI.
    - Familiarity with email security best practices, including anti-spam, anti-virus, and mail filtering solutions.
    - Proficiency in PowerShell scripting for automation and system administration tasks.
    - Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to quickly diagnose and resolve complex issues.
    - Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
    - Certification in Microsoft Exchange Server (e.g., MCSE: Messaging) is highly preferred.
    - Experience with Microsoft Office 365, Microsoft Teams and Exchange Online.

    As a Microsoft Exchange Engineer SME, you will lead the migration efforts for our clients going into the cloud using industry best-practices, providing expert level knowledge and guidance to other team members.
