    Empathy Hands Homecare is looking for reliable, compassionate, and qualified caregivers to serve our clients in the Los Angeles Area. We are looking for experienced Caregivers, CNAs, or Senior Companions for clients in the LOS ANGELES AREA. This is our agency's goal. We want patient-focused individuals like you who truly care about quality home care and are committed to providing our clients with the best possible care.

    Full-Time & Part-Time Positions

    Pay: $21.50 - $23.00 per hour

    Ideal candidates will have their own vehicle and a cell phone. Caregiver, HHA, CNA, or Senior Companion must also speak English well and have a good driving record. We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly motivated HHA or Caregiver who has exceptional time management skills and is familiar with the challenges of working with Seniors, is highly organized, and can work independently. The successful candidate will also have excellent oral and written communication skills and will be responsible for assisting clients with a variety of tasks that include assisting with activities of daily living, showering, dressing, Personal hygiene and grooming; being okay with client smoking and documenting care tasks.

    Job Responsibilities:

    Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs)

    Provide companionship and emotional support

    Assist with bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting

    Meal preparation and light housekeeping

    Medication reminders

    Support with mobility, transfers, and ambulation

    Accompany clients to appointments and errands as needed by access bus

    Maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for clients

    Qualifications:

    Caregiving and/or CNA experience preferred

    Current CNA certification is welcomed but not required for caregiver positions

    Compassionate, patient, and reliable demeanor

    Strong communication and interpersonal skills

    Ability to work independently and follow care plans

    Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred

    CPR and First Aid certification is a plus

    Must be able to pass a background check in accordance with California state regulations

    Education: High school or equivalent (Preferred)

    Job Requirements

    To be considered, you must meet the following qualifications:- A minimum of 1 to 2 yrs of caregiving experience in performing personal care,

    • Current CPR and First Aid certification

    • Current TB skin test or clear X-ray

    • Fingerprint Clearance (Live Scan)

    • Three professional and three personal references

    Responsibilities will include personal care, light housework, meal preparation, companionship, showers, Laundry, ADL, and other duties as required.
