POSITION OVERVIEW:

During our 10 week Summer Internship Program, our intern will work with a team of software engineers to design, develop, and test software systems. You will conduct research and analysis to resolve application issues and participate in daily stand-ups with the team.

After the 10-week program concludes, our goal is to have our intern on part time throughout the school year, with the ultimate goal to be full-time employment after graduation! We can be flexible with hours and the ability to work remotely in order to accommodate your class schedule.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Current Junior working towards a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
• Experience with Object Oriented programming languages such as Java, C#/.NET
• Experience with JavaScript development frameworks such as React, Node, Angular, or Express
• Experience with databases such as Oracle or SQL
• Self-Starter with the ability to deep dive into source documentation to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues
• Basic understanding of Agile/Scrum Methodologies
• Strong communication skills with the ability to work well in a team environment
• Ability to document work in a clear, easy to follow manner
• Ability to manage time effectively while staying flexible with competing priorities

PREFERRED:

• UI/UX, AWS or GIS experience would all be a plus
