The Role
This Inside Sales Representative is a key growth role that absorbs our previous Sales Administrator responsibilities and elevates them into a true selling seat. You will own inbound opportunities and proactively drive revenue by moving leads through discovery, quoting, follow-up, and close.
This role is not just “taking orders.” While our products have a strong reputation and sell well to ideal clients, you must be able to lead conversations, recommend solutions, estimate accurately, and close; looking for ways for SpeedPro to grow the relationship and become a more valuable partner.
You will also play a critical role in margin and operational efficiency by ensuring each job is sold correctly and handed off to Operations with a complete Scope packet.
Primary Responsibilities
Respond quickly and professionally to inbound calls, emails, and web leads
Coordinate lead flow and basic marketing vendor activity (minimal content creation)
Ensure every lead is captured, tracked, and acted on
Maintain impeccable organization and detail through our CRM and quoting tools
Build and manage a clean pipeline: quotes sent, follow-ups due, aging opportunities
Proactively identify and pursue: warm leads, reactivations, and expansion opportunities
Run discovery: clarify scope, timeline, site conditions, files/art, install needs
Create accurate estimates/quotes using our software systems using a BOM methodology. You'll need math skills and ability to learn our materials, applications and manufacturing processes.
For complex new construction projects, provide 'take-off' estimates within scope from provided plans
Present quotes confidently (options, value framing, clear next steps)
Follow up persistently, understand 'no' is a learning point in the conversation, not the end.
Follow established pricing guardrails (minimums, complexity considerations, etc.)
Understand cost-plus pricing and value-based pricing models and when to apply both.
Final specs (sizes, materials, finishing)
Art/proof status + customer approvals
Install/delivery requirements + site notes/photos (when needed)
Timeline constraints + special instructions
Any vendor coordination details
How You’ll Be Measured (Performance Scorecard)

Quote Output + Quality: quotes delivered quickly with clear scope and minimal revisions
Close Rate: consistent conversion from quote → won work
Pipeline Hygiene: CRM is current; every opportunity has a next step; aging quotes are actively worked
Gross Profit Discipline ($Value): pricing follows guardrails and protects margin (no “panic discounting”)
Definition of Ready Quality: Operations receives complete, ready-to-produce handoffs (few/no missing details)
Customer Experience: professional communication, strong follow-through, and trust-building with B2B decision-makers
