Job Summary
The Inbound Logistics Specialist ensures material handling aligns with site procedures, managing
order entry, material tracking, production, and inventory control. They guarantee products are
stored, handled, identified, and shipped per business unit and customer specifications.
Duties & Responsibilities:
• Receive, examine, and process incoming shipments against packing list. Transfer
materials to inventory and replenish bins and organize overstock.
• Accurately identify and count stock materials as listed on the cycle count list.
• Organize and maintain inventory and keep track of which items to order and restock.
• Communicate with other departments on inventory, orders, and deliveries.
• Assists in the pulling of orders for department and enters data into the enterprise
inventory tracking system.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
• High School diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must be forklift certified or able to become certified with training.
• Knowledge of warehouse procedures and practices
• Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently.
• Computer literate.
Skills & Competencies
• Experience with NetSuite ERP preferred or equivalent.
• Experience in manufacturing environment preferred.
• Experience with import/export rules and regulations preferred.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Oversee tracking of all incoming deliveries.
• Assist in scheduling and preparing materials for installations and services.
Physical Demands & Work Environment
• Ability to work at least 40 hours per week.
• Ability to utilize keyboard, mouse, and computer for up to 8 hours per day.
• Ability to lift and/or move at least 50 pounds
• Ability to perform simple grasping, including handwriting, paper manipulation, sorting,
folding, etc. periodically throughout the entire workday.
• Occasionally remain in a stationary position throughout day.
• Occasionally move about inside and outside the premises.
