Job Description
We are seeking an Administrative Assistant with knowledge of how to create a website to join our team! You will perform clerical and administrative functions and provide business development support to drive company success.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Plan and schedule appointments and events utilizing specialized platforms
- Monitor and respond to emails in a polite and professional manner
- Provide support to team of Independent Contractors
- Develop and implement organized filing systems
- Perform all other office tasks as needed
- Provide input on website development
- Help organize/develop educational materials
FURTHER DETAILS:
- 15 – 20 hours per week. Days and time to be determined via discussion between candidate and employer
- Preference will be given to a business/entrepreneurial graduate or undergraduate student interested in assisting owner in growing and developing a small, woman-owned service industry business
- Seeking someone with a strong interest in what it takes to own and run a small business
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Excellent spelling, punctuation, and grammar skills
- Previous experience in office administration or other related fields
- Ability to prioritize and multitask
- Ability to problem solve quickly
- Familiar with Microsoft software suite
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong organizational skills
- Self-motivator and self-initiator
- Knowledge of and sensitivity to community of Deaf and Hard of Hearing a plus but not required
