    Job Description

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    AstraZeneca has implemented a content management solution focused on the reuse of modular/master marketing promotional content through multiple channels (web, print, e-mail, iPad, social). The Content Manager plays a pivotal role with this solution ensuring that content is applied accurately and efficiently to brand promotional materials.

    ·       Manage and maintain all content including text, images and videos, ensuring they are tagged and stored according to defined standards, which are applied consistently across the organization. The Digital Content Manager’s role is critical as they are responsible for keeping all content metadata up-to-date and accurate.

    ·       The Content Manager interacts with both Brand promotion teams and creative agencies ongoing to insure the content is both up to date and applied accurately to creative promotional resources.

    ·       Support the creation of digital and print promotional materials using designated modular content

    ·       Work closely with internal team members and external creative agency partners to update and refresh master content on a regular basis

    ·       Manage multiple operational projects through the content management solution process, simultaneously, from concept kick-off to final approval

    ·       Own the creation of the editorial calendar aligned with short-term and long-term targets aligned to Squad OKRs

    ·       Publish engaging SEO optimised content for website that aligns to brand guidelines

    ·       Use Analytics packages to analyze website traffic and users engagement metrics under guidance from analytics lead

    ·       Manage content distribution to online channels and social media platforms to increase web traffic

    ·       Stay up-to-date with content developments and generate new ideas to draw audience’s attention

    Position Requirements/Key Skills

    • Bachelor's degree in life/health-related sciences, or Marketing Communication
    • 6-8 years of pharma marketing content strategy and copywriting experience in creative agency or copy writing industry
    • Strong healthcare portfolio experience including content strategies and copy for a variety of audiences, channels, and platforms
    • Above brand content strategy experience (At enterprise level, may be a plus)
    • Ability to translate complex business copy or concepts into clear and simple messages
    • Experience developing a broad scope of communications materials for a range of audience (like brand managers, regulatory leads, creative agency, Content leads, Engagement leads, Commercial leads)
    • Ability to operate effectively in a fast paced, deadline-driven environment
    • Highly organized and effective at multi-tasking
    • Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly PowerPoint and Word (PC or Mac) and understanding of Adobe Creative Suite
