30 to 40 hours per week

Independence Home Health has an immediate need for a transitional home health aide who will work primarily on days but be available if a night aide calls off. The successful individual should have reliable transportation, good communication skills and enjoy windshield time. The person serving in this role could see as many as three to five clients within a 5-county area on any given day.

The rate for the position is $17.50, $18.50 if called in on nights or weekends.

The successful candidate could expect to assist clients with the following:

Qualifications

Free certification for Home Health Aide and Personal Care Attendant

Successful completion of the formal Certified Nursing Assistant Certification (Not necessary for Home Health Aide or Personal Care Attendant

Ability to follow a written Plan of Care.

Good verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.
