Position Overview

This role is centered on supporting the coordination of freight movement by assisting with scheduling, communication, and shipment tracking. Individuals in this position contribute to the day-to-day flow of transportation operations by helping ensure that load information is current, organized, and properly communicated. The position provides exposure to real-time logistics activity and requires consistent attention to updates and changes throughout the workday.

Responsibilities

Assist with coordinating load assignments and schedule updates

Monitor shipment activity and record status changes

Communicate with drivers and logistics contacts regarding load progress

Maintain accurate and organized dispatch records

Support follow-up on delays, changes, or delivery updates

Track timing expectations and help ensure deadlines are noted

Assist in documenting load-specific notes and instructions

Contribute to maintaining steady communication flow across operations

Qualifications

Strong written and verbal communication skills
