    Job Summary:

    Paper Distribution and Printing Experience Required*

    As the Warehouse Manager, you will oversee all aspects of our warehouse operations, ensuring efficient and organized handling of materials and supplies necessary for our printing processes. You will play a vital role in managing inventory, optimizing warehouse layout, and coordinating with other departments to meet production requirements. Includes shipping and receiving and managing of the recycling program.

    Supervisory Responsibilities:

    • Oversees the daily workflow of the warehouse; schedules and organizes staff to ensure proper staffing of all shifts.

    • Hires and trains new warehouse employees.

    • Conducts performance evaluations that are timely and constructive.

    • Notify and work with Human Resources in disciplinary actions and termination of employees as needed and in accordance with company policy.

    Duties/Responsibilities:

    • Supervise and lead warehouse staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance management.

    • Plan and coordinate daily warehouse activities, including receiving, storing, and distributing materials and supplies, shipping, and logistics.

    • Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct regular physical inventory counts.

    • Implement inventory management systems such as a bar code one and procedures to optimize stock levels and minimize shrinkage.

    • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and best practices for handling and storing hazardous materials.

    • Monitor warehouse equipment and facilities, arranging for repairs and maintenance as needed.

    • Collaborate with production, purchasing, and logistics departments to ensure timely delivery of materials to support production schedules.

    • Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings in warehouse operations.

    • Manage the recycling program.

    • Prepare reports and analyze data to track key performance indicators and identify areas for improvement.

    Required Skills/Abilities:

    Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team

    • Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.

    • Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
    • Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices for warehouse operations.
    • Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
    • Forklift certification and experience operating material handling equipment preferred.

    Education and Experience:
    • Bachelor's degree in business administration, logistics, or a related field preferred. OR High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree preferred.
    • Proven experience in warehouse management, preferably in a manufacturing or printing environment.
    • Supervisory experience strongly preferred. Physical Requirements:
    • Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at a time.
    • Must be able to traverse and access all areas of the warehouse.
