    About the Role

    As an Independent Vascular Access RN (PRN), you’ll collaborate directly with our facility partners to troubleshoot, place, and manage vascular access devices. This is a mobile role where visits are dispatched regionally. Nurses work independently with mileage reimbursement and full clinical support, with opportunities to transition into FT roles based on market needs.

    Key Responsibilities

    Perform PICC line and midline insertions using ultrasound guidance.

    Manage and troubleshoot vascular access devices (declotting, line removal, dressing changes).

    Perform port access and de-access procedures.

    Use ECG-based confirmation when required.

    Document procedures and communicate findings to facility staff and the Vellum team.

    Provide education to local nursing teams on CVAD maintenance and best practices.

    Ideal Candidate Profile

    Active RN license in Missouri (unencumbered).

    2+ years of recent vascular access experience (PICC/midline).

    Confident with ultrasound-guided vascular access techniques.

    Holds current BLS certification.

    Valid driver’s license and reliable personal vehicle.

    Comfortable completing documentation electronically in the field.

    Schedule & Flexibility (PRN with FT Potential)

    PRN: Minimum of 4 shifts per month (daytime hours, occasional weekends if needed).

    Opportunity to transition to FT (3–4 shifts/week) based on performance and market demand.
