Job Description
SpeedX is seeking Independent Courier Drivers (1099) to handle same-day and next-day parcel deliveries in the greater Harrisburg area. This opportunity is ideal for dependable drivers who want consistent delivery routes , competitive per-route pay, and the flexibility of independent contract work.
Key Responsibilities
Pick up parcels from local facilities and complete assigned delivery routes
Deliver to residential and light commercial locations
Use a mobile delivery app to navigate routes, scan packages, and confirm deliveries
Capture proof of delivery (photo/signature)
Maintain professional communication and customer service standards
Driver Requirements
Must be 21 years or older
Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
Reliable, insured vehicle (sedan, SUV, minivan; cargo van preferred but not required)
Smartphone (iOS or Android) with GPS and data
Ability to lift and carry packages up to 40–50 lbs
Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated
Preferred Experience (not required):
Amazon Flex, FedEx Ground, UPS, DHL, Roadie, Uber, Lyft, DoorDash, Instacart, or similar delivery platforms.
Compensation & Contract Details
1099 Independent Contractor position
Paid per route or per stop (details shared during onboarding)
Consistent weekday volume with weekend opportunities available
Drivers are responsible for vehicle expenses, fuel, insurance, and taxes
