    Description
We’re seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Indirect Purchaser to manage all non-production purchasing needs for our Newark-based operations. This role ensures the smooth functioning of company activities by sourcing, ordering, and tracking supplies and services that support every department — from office materials and maintenance tools to equipment and facility needs.

We welcome candidates with varying levels of experience, including those newer to purchasing, who demonstrate initiative, strong communication, and a desire to grow in procurement. This is an excellent opportunity to develop within a fast-paced, collaborative environment while making a direct impact on company operations.

    Responsibilities

    • Manage all internal purchasing requests and ensure timely fulfillment of company needs.
    • Research, prepare, and process purchase orders for a wide range of items, including office supplies, tools, equipment, food, and facility services.
    • Identify and qualify vendors based on cost, quality, reliability, and delivery performance.
    • Track orders and deliveries to ensure timely receipt and accurate documentation.
    • Monitor internal stock levels and anticipate upcoming purchasing requirements.
    • Support cost optimization through vendor negotiations and purchasing efficiencies.
    • Maintain accurate records of purchases, vendor performance, pricing, and contracts.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and service providers.
    • Handle vendor communication, issue resolution, and performance evaluation.
    • Collaborate with internal departments to align on purchasing priorities.
    • Ensure all purchasing activities comply with company policies and procurement standards.
    • Assist in improving workflows and streamlining purchasing processes.

    Qualifications

    • Experience in purchasing or procurement, ideally in a manufacturing or large-scale facility environment (open to candidates with less experience who show strong initiative and potential).
    • Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills.
    • Familiarity with supply chain operations, vendor management, and inventory control.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and purchasing or ERP software.
    • Strong attention to detail, accountability, and multitasking ability.
    • Tech-savvy with a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset.

    Benefits

Eligible after 60 days of employment:
    • Medical, dental, and vision insurance
    • Paid time off and holidays
    • 401(k) with company match
    • Employee discounts
    • Professional development and growth opportunities
    • Collaborative, innovative work environment

    Final Invitation to Apply
If you’re a motivated and detail-driven individual eager to grow in purchasing and procurement, this is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team and make an immediate operational impact.
