    Job Description

    Key Business Responsibilities:

    • Manage and mentor key suppliers within specific material fields, fostering strong and collaborative relationships.
    • Lead contract negotiations with nominated suppliers, including those involved in global projects.
    • Ensure the successful deployment and fulfillment of policy targets for assigned (sub) material fields.
    • Collaborate proactively with plant colleagues, IBT Lead Buyers, and Corporate Lead Buyers to define and implement strategic plans.
    • Prepare and execute sub-material field strategies for the designated material fields.

    Delivery Responsibilities:

    • Review purchasing requisitions and issue purchase orders promptly.
    • Plan and conduct RFPs to ensure timely contract renewals and increase contract coverage.
    • Provide support for issues related to contracting and contract compliance.
    • Develop and implement actions to meet or exceed key KPI deliverables as outlined in policy deployment targets.
    • Prepare monthly status reports, including RFP progress, savings, and other key KPIs such as automation, supply base reduction, and payment terms.
    • Drive continuous process improvements to enhance efficiency and performance.

  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    Required Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree (perferably in Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Business or related discipline)
    • Minimum 3-4 years’ experience in Purchasing, Supply Chain, Marketing or similar related services.
    • Self-motivated to define and drive continuous improvement of processes
    • Excellent communication skills, initiative and personal accountability
    • Organized and excellent communication and project management skills. PC literate (MS-Office, SAP).
    • Awareness and application of basic principles, strategies & instruments of purchasing.
    • Negotiation skills with demonstrated cost savings results.
    • Excellent interpersonal communication skills both written and verbal.
    • Ability to communicate and conduct business discussion fluently in English.
    • Ability to support teams working out of North American Time Zones
