Job Description

We are seeking a Woodworker/Sales Associate to join our team at our new business location! At Indivisible Hardwoods we seek to cultivate a creative environment for woodworkers and visionaries alike. This will be a retail space with a fully functional woodshop in the back to make a space where the possibilities are limitless. Within the retail space we will be carrying top notch tools and various American made products. We are looking for people who have a positive attitude and are excited about woodworking.

Indivisible Hardwoods is a new business that is ever evolving, and we want the employees on the floor to be the driving force of helping it reach its full potential. Teamwork will be not only necessary but essential in that endeavor.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Present and sell company products and services to new and existing customers
• Resolve customer inquiries and complaints
• Set follow-up appointments to keep customers aware of latest developments
• Maintain a safe and clean environment in the woodshop at all times
• Upkeep safety measures and respect of the tools within the woodshop
• Operate table saws, chop saws, jointers, routers, and various hand tools
• Maintain our standards of integrity, honesty, and getting the job done right
• Have pride in the quality of your work

​QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs., bend, stoop, and stand on feet for long periods of time.
• Ability to build rapport with clients
• Strong communication skills
• Deadline and detail-oriented
• ability to read a tape measure
• Previous knowledge in woodworking preferred

We are looking for both part-time and full-time employees

Scheduling is very flexible.
