    Job Description

    Coordinate all appointment scheduling activities and ensure all telephone calls are adequately screened, transferred; messages are accurately taken and delivered. In addition, responsibilities include registration and insurance (eligibility) verification to insure payment of services provided by medical group providers.

    KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS

    Knowledge, Skills required are.

    1. Knowledge of basic clerical and communication principles 2. Knowledge of medical terminology
    2. Computer and typing skills.
    3. Excellent customer service.
    4. Knowledgeable in Insurances.
    5. Knowledge of confidentiality standards and the ability to maintain confidentiality.

    REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

    1. High School Diploma or GED required

    2. Excellent telephone and customer service etiquette.

    3. Must be fluent in Spanish

    4. Minimum 2 years Call Center, Scheduling, and Insurance verification experience.
