    Established welding/fabrication shop in N. Fort Worth/Saginaw (Hicks Airfield) seeking experienced Bead Blast Operator. This individual will work under and receive instructions from supervisor regarding Bead Blast operations and maintenance of machine. You must lift up to 50 pounds, use measuring tape, have valid driver's license and dependable transportation. Bead blasting is a flexible, multi-purpose surface finish that involves shooting high-pressure glass beads at stainless steel fabricated items. A bead blast finish improves the overall appearance, creating a uniform surface with a satin texture. This also entails shoveling the used glass beads into the vacuum along with moving around a large hose to blast with. This would involve moving larges items and working in a dirty environment. Experience in manufacturing or production environment would be helpful. Full time position beginning daily at 7:00 am – 4:30 pm with possible overtime on weekends. This position could also lead to help in other areas of the business such as Water Jet, Assembly and CNC. Health benefits available after 60 days and 401K provided and vacation after one year. Our expectations: arrive on time daily, want to work, learn new trades and skills, eager to learn and listen. Pay starts at $16.00 per hour and can increase as you gain more knowledge.
