    Job Description

    Position Summary

    The Industrial Engineer II will contribute to the design, optimization, and implementation of manufacturing systems and processes for CRB’s clients in the life sciences, pharmaceutical, and biotechnology sectors. This role involves working on intermediate-level engineering tasks, collaborating across disciplines, and supporting project execution from concept through construction.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Support the design and development of manufacturing systems, layouts, and workflows to improve efficiency and productivity.
    • Conduct time studies, process simulations, and capacity analyses to inform design decisions.
    • Collaborate with architects, mechanical, electrical, and automation engineers to ensure integrated and constructible designs.
    • Assist in preparing engineering documentation including process flow diagrams, equipment specifications, and technical reports.
    • Participate in feasibility studies, scope development, and detailed design phases.
    • Ensure compliance with industry standards, codes, and client requirements.
    • Provide technical support during construction and commissioning phases.
    • Mentor entry-level engineers and contribute to team development.
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or related field.
    • 3–5 years of experience in industrial engineering, preferably in life sciences or similar GMP manufacturing.
    • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, or other BIM tools; experience with simulation software is a plus.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
    • Familiarity with lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies.

    Preferred Skills

    • Experience with GMP environments and regulatory compliance.
    • Knowledge of facility design and layout planning.
    • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
