Job Summary
****Industrial Engineer **** applies engineering principles to optimize the production processes of nutraceutical products. This involves designing, implementing, and improving systems for manufacturing, packaging, and distribution, ensuring efficiency, quality, and compliance with regulations. They may also focus on areas like facility design, equipment selection, process optimization, and waste reduction.
Duties & Responsibilities
Optimize Processes: Analyze and enhance existing production processes to boost efficiency, slash waste, and reduce costs. You'll identify bottlenecks and implement innovative solutions to streamline our operations.
Design & Equip Facilities: Contribute to the design of new manufacturing facilities, meticulously selecting and integrating equipment that meets our production demands and adheres to all regulatory standards.
Ensure Quality: Implement and maintain robust quality control measures throughout the entire production lifecycle, guaranteeing our nutraceutical products consistently meet the highest quality benchmarks.
Maintain Compliance: Nutraceuticals must adhere to specific regulations, and industrial engineers play a role in ensuring compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and other relevant guidelines.
Drive Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement, from facility layout to equipment utilization, contributing to a culture of ongoing optimization and waste reduction.
Education & Experience
Engineering Degree: A degree in industrial engineering or a related field is typically required.
Knowledge of Manufacturing Processes: Understanding various manufacturing processes, including powder processing, mixing, encapsulation, and bottling is essential.
Knowledge of Regulatory Requirements: Familiarity with GMP and other relevant regulations is essential for ensuring compliance.
