Job Description
The Industrial Engineering Intern is an on-site position at the Harland Clarke Corporate office at 15955 La Cantera Pkwy San Antonio, Texas 78256. The position will specifically support the Engineering discipline within the Manufacturing Organization. However, support may also be required within Plant Manufacturing Principles as well as Process Quality. The Engineering Intern can expect a summer full of various project that should enhance skills in work measurement, cost analysis, process mapping and project documentation. A typical day will vary in requirements, as both the position and the department is fast-paced. Travel may be required to facilities outside of San Antonio with another member of the Engineering & Process Quality Team.

Education & Knowledge Required:
Must have or currently be pursuing a degree in Engineering or Mathematics degree required (Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Technology a plus)
Experience / Skills / Abilities Required:
Knowledge of basic Engineering principles
Ability to learn quickly
Detail Oriented
Strong written and verbal communication
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Additional Information
Hourly Compensation: $15.00-$20.00
The ultimate compensation offered for the position will depend upon several factors such as skill level, cost of living, experience, and responsibilities.
