Specialized Experience for GS-08: One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-07 grade level in the Federal service which includes: 1) Applying principles, techniques, procedures, and equipment necessary to accomplish objectives. 2) Assisting in conducting capacity studies to improve manufacturing methods. 3) Planning workflow. 4) Preparing documents, charts, reports and recording in various databases. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-07). Specialized Experience for GS-09: One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-08 grade level in the Federal service which includes: 1) Applying principles, techniques, procedures, and equipment necessary to accomplish objectives. 2) Conducting capacity studies to improve manufacturing methods. 3) Planning workflow and new constructions and recommending alternative measures. 4) Preparing documents, charts, reports and recording in various databases. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-08). The U.S. Army Communications-Electronics Command (CECOM) is the Army’s materiel integrator for Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Cyber, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (C5ISR) readiness. As a major subordinate command of the U.S. Army Materiel Command (AMC), CECOM collaborates with Army Commands, Program Executive Offices, other AMC commands, and industry partners to provide, integrate, and sustain world-class C5ISR hardware, software, and mission command capabilities for the joint warfighter.
