    Industrial Facilities Maintenance Technician II & III

    Tech II: $28.50-$30.50/hour DOE + Robust Benefits Package

    Tech III: $31-$36/hour DOE + Robust Benefits Package
    Location: Windsor, CO
    Shift: M-F: 6 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.

    How you will spend your time as an Industrial Facilities Maintenance Technician:

    • Perform maintenance on facility, utility, and HVAC equipment.
    • Assist Senior Technicians with repairs and preventative maintenance.
    • Troubleshoot plant and clean utility systems, including purified/DI water, clean steam, and WFI systems.
    • Maintain and operate boilers, chillers, air handlers, and USP water systems (if qualified).
    • Support engineering projects, including installation, modification, and improvement of equipment.
    • Train and mentor Tech I/II staff in the operation, maintenance, and repair of utility and facility equipment.
    • Maintain content of training records and ensure compliance with cGMP, FDA, and SOP standards.
    • Develop and maintain preventative maintenance programs and SOPs.
    • Provide support for audits, deviations, and investigations.
    • Enter data into work order systems and maintain accurate records.
    • Requisition parts, materials, and supplies as needed, including monitoring and maintaining spare parts inventory.
    • Perform general building maintenance, repairs, and projects, including plumbing, lighting, and painting (if qualified).
    • Participate in annual hazardous waste training and respond to spills according to CP 030-0202 Chemical Spill Response.

    Skills & experience we would like you to have as an Industrial Facilities Maintenance Technician:

    Core Requirements (All Candidates):

    • Experience in Facilities, Utilities, HVAC, or Maintenance Operations.
    • Ability to diagnose and repair facility and utility equipment.
    • Basic computer proficiency (Word, Excel, work order systems).
    • High mechanical aptitude and strong problem-solving skills.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Valid Colorado Driver’s License with acceptable MVR.
    • Strong communication and organizational skills.

    Education & Experience Leveling:

    Tech II (Mid-Level):

    • 4+ years of combined education, training, and hands-on experience in facilities, utilities, HVAC, or maintenance.
    • Experience performing preventative maintenance and basic troubleshooting on facility and utility systems.
    • Familiarity with cGMP/FDA environments and documentation practices.
    • Exposure to systems such as HVAC, steam, hot water, or purified/DI water preferred.
    • Typically works under general supervision and supports senior technicians.

    Tech III (Senior-Level):

    • 6+ years of hands-on experience in a trade (Electrical, HVAC, Plumbing, Mechanical), preferably in a GMP or regulated environment.
    • Advanced troubleshooting and repair experience across facility, utility, and HVAC systems (e.g., boilers, chillers, air handlers, USP water systems).
    • Experience developing preventative maintenance programs and supporting SOP creation.
    • Proven ability to train and mentor other technicians and support audits, deviations, and investigations.
    • Experience working in cleanroom or aseptic environments preferred.
    • Journeyman license or formal trade certification preferred.
    • Ability to work with minimal supervision and take ownership of projects and systems.
