    Job Description

    As an Intern in the Industrial Group at our downtown Seattle office location, you will have the opportunity to work alongside experienced engineers and project managers on real-world projects, gaining hands-on experience in various phases of the design and construction process. The type and scope of the projects vary but typically involve industrial projects for manufacturing and private-sector clients, and related infrastructure.

    • Support various phases of project delivery, from design to construction and closeout.
    • Work with multi-disciplinary teams to help establish project goals and objectives.
    • Help create project plans, budgets, and schedules under supervision.
    • Track project progress and assist in identifying potential risks.
    • Participate in QA/QC processes related to project submissions.
    • Assist in maintaining relationships with clients and participate in project meetings.
    • Support project budgeting, cost tracking, and financial performance monitoring.
    • Help conduct market research and assist in developing business strategies.
  • Qualifications

    • Current enrollment in a BSCE program
    • Effective written and verbal communication
    • Ability to work collaboratively within a project team
    • Strong organizational abilities
    • Desire for continued learning

    Additional Information

    Compensation

    Hourly rate for this position is expected to be $22, pending the candidate’s qualifications.

    Physical Demands:

    • Duties are primarily conducted in a standard office setting, requiring prolonged periods of sitting at a desk or computer table.
    • Occasionally may be required to lift objects weighing up to 15 lbs.
    • Occasionally visiting project locations and performing field inspections which may involve walking, standing, kneeling, or navigating uneven terrain.
    • Traveling to project sites or client meetings, which may involve driving or flying.
