    Industrial Service Electrician

    Full-Time | Local Position | $25–$35 per hour

    Job Summary

    IEG is seeking skilled Industrial Service Electricians —either Journeymen or Apprentices with at least three years of industrial electrical experience. This is a full‑time, direct‑hire , locally based role with some travel required, but it is not strictly a traveling electrician position. We are looking for dependable professionals capable of working independently and excelling in fast‑paced industrial environments.

    Ideal candidates are:

    • Able to work with minimal supervision
    • Highly technical and versatile
    • Comfortable handling multiple tasks and priorities
    • Experienced in industrial environments
    • Capable of training and mentoring newer electricians

    Required Knowledge

    Candidates should have solid understanding of:

    • NEC Code
    • Running electrical jobs of varying sizes
    • Feeder sizing requirements
    • Tooling needs for industrial projects
    • PPE requirements and electrical safety practices
    • Lighting systems, transformers, motor controls, and switchboards

    Required Skills

    Candidates must be proficient in:

    • Electrical wiring
    • Threading, bending, and installing EMT and rigid conduit (½"–4")
    • Using Microsoft Office, Outlook, and ERP systems
    • Applying mathematical skills for electrical calculations
    • Reading and interpreting sketches, blueprints, drawings, and specifications

    Job Details

    Job Types: Full‑time, Contract, Temporary
    Pay: $25.00 – $35.00 per hour
    Location: In person at local branch
