Specialty lumber company located in Kansas City, Kansas is seeking a qualified individual with several years experience operating fork lifts ranging is size from 8k Lbs to 30K Lbs. The ideal candidate will be responsible for loading and unloading lumber and panel (plywood and OSB) products, maintaing company inventory on the ground and communicating with management all areas of need. In addition, the ideal candidate will have several years experience moving and loading crated equipment and raw material on common carriers (flatbed or vans) with our customers' finished products. This position is moslty performed in an outdoor environment regarless of weather conditions. The ideal candidate will be expected to prioritize their daily activities in order to best support our production staff and their workloads. The ability to maintain and perform minor repairs to lumber yard equipment is beneficial and preferred.
