We are a small specialty lumber yard in Kansas City Kansas providing forest products for manufacturers and heavy industry. We are looking to identify candidates to join our management staff and fill the position of Lumber Yard Manager. The ideal candidate will have several years experience in a manufacturing environment supervising production workers. This person will be required to solve daily production issues, manage inventories and think fast on their feet. This position will involve direct customer contact, job estimating and sales. This candidate must be able to prepare and deliver accurate production assignments and instructions to the workforce to insure completion and delivery based on the requirements of our customers. Working knowledge of construction equipment, pneumatic power tools and small electric power tools is helpful as is the ability to quickly learn our proprietary computer order entry and information system.
