Due to increased project demands, an original equipment manufacturing company based in Fairfield, New Jersey has an immediate

opening for an Industrial Machinery - Mechanical Assembler / Builder

Responsibilities include:

• Mechanical assembly of parts, sub-assemblies and complete machines using hand and power tools.

• Quality verification of parts throughout the assembly process.

• Cutting, fabricating and general preparation of raw materials to be used in other component manufacturing processes.

• Packing, palletizing or crating finished machinery for final shipment.

Minimum requirements include:

• High School Diploma or GED.

• 2 years of professional experience.

• Good eye-hand coordination and mechanical inclination.

• Ability to push, pull or lift up to 40 pounds.

• Ability to read, understand and interpret mechanical drawings and schematics.

• Knowledge of common mechanical components, including: fasteners, bearings, gearing and raw materials.

• Ability to install pneumatic and hydraulic components and systems per schematics or directions.
