Maintenance Journeyman
Years of Experience
· 1 to 3 years in industrial maintenance or plant experience
Preferred:
· Proficient in Foundry operation, setup, and programming, computer skills, CAD/CAM, including GD&T, manufacturing tooling design, lean concepts, experience in grinding, balancing, and drilling operations, automation, logic, mechanical, design, and implementation.
· Ability to develop, evaluate, and improve manufacturing methods utilizing knowledge of product design, materials and parts, fabrication processes, tooling, and production equipment capabilities, manufacturing methods, and quality control standards.
Journeyman’s card in general maintenance or;
· Associates Degree in a related field
· Must have ability to read, write and comprehend English.
· Must have basic blueprint and work instruction reading ability.
· Ability to accurately read Micrometers and callipers.
· Understand Geometric tolerances and their meanings.

WORK CONDITIONS
· Working conditions are normal for a manufacturing environment. Exposure to noise, odors, dust/sand (silica), etc. Operation of equipment required at times.
· Work involves frequent lifting of materials and product up to 70 pounds as well as standing, bending and twisting, pushing, pulling, climbing stairs/ladders, reaching at or below shoulder level, gross and fine manipulation with hands, stooping, crouching, kneel, crawling, hearing sounds, visual acuity with corrective lenses, work in confined spaces at times.
· Machinery operation requires the use of safety equipment to include but not limited to; eye safety glasses, hearing protection, and steel-toed work boots.
· Working safely is a condition of employment.
