Inventory Sorting/Processing
The primary function of the Inventory Processing position is to accurately identify, sort, and receive items into the IMS inventory system. Pallets of items such as electric motors, circuit breakers, electronics, and various other industrial/manufacturing equipment are shipped to us by the truckload and it is our job to process the shipments with accuracy and urgency.
Key responsibilities include:
Learning and understanding our company inventory system
Working at a smart, fast, and safe pace
Accurately entering information
Accurately identifying manufacturers and correct part numbers
Taking quality pictures
Operating a forklift
Cycle Counting
Unloading / loading trucks
Standing/moving for 8 Hour work shifts. Regularly required to walk, stand, bend, twist, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel or crouch
Occasional lifting/stacking items weighing approx. 70lbs
The employee is exposed to dust, dirt, and weather conditions prevalent at the time (i.e., cold, hot/humid)
This is an entry level position at a company that is growing rapidly. We are looking to add a full time team member who is excited to learn and gain very valuable experience in the industry. There are opportunities for advancement. This position can offer valuable experience in the worlds of supply chain, shipping and receiving, manufacturing, procurement, and industrial automation, for those dedicated to learning. The chosen candidate will be trained in depth, however previous applicable experience is a plus.
