    • Operate and maintain painting equipment while providing input on process optimization and equipment needs
    • Maneuver heavy parts throughout the shop using forklifts and tow motors
    • Adapt techniques to handle diverse, custom jobs rather than repetitive production runs

    • Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet the specific requirements of the medical and aerospace industries
    • Collaborate with the fabrication and welding teams to ensure timely project completion

    Industrial Painter Reporting Relationships:

The Industrial Painter reports to the Shop Foreman and does not have any direct reports.

    About You:

    • Possess significant experience with industrial wet paint application
    • Demonstrate expertise in working with carbon steel materials
    • Background in a job shop or custom fabrication environment
    • Ability to operate a forklift and tow motor safely
    • Versatility to switch between different types of custom projects and tasks
    • Strong problem-solving skills and a desire to contribute to process improvements
    • Physical ability to handle large-scale, heavy metal parts
    • Familiarity with welding or grinding processes is a plus

    Next Steps:

If you are a versatile and experienced painter who thrives in a custom fabrication environment, we would like to hear from you.

    Additional Information:

    • Working Conditions: This role operates in a small, laid-back shop environment that offers flexibility
    • Physical Demands: Requires the ability to stand for long periods and move large, heavy metal components
