Benefits • Medical • Dental • Vision • 401(k) • Life Insurance • PTO Responsibilities: • Complete the necessary preparations before starting the painting process • Cleans and readies the surface of items for painting • Ensure the proper operation and maintenance of painting equipment to keep it in optimal condition • Coat composite and metal parts with primer and paint to achieve the specified dry film thickness • Collaborate closely with fabricators and finishers • Expertise in identifying and specifying equipment • This position is safety sensitive Qualifications: • Prior painting experience or a strong desire to learn and succeed in a new field (Training available for the suitable candidate) • Proficiency in comprehending and interpreting guidelines and technical papers, including paint blending protocols, safety regulations, and material specification blueprints related to painting • The candidate must possess the physical ability to perform the essential duties of the position, including lifting objects weighing up to 75 pounds, standing for extended periods, kneeling, bending, and climbing • Proficiency in forklift operation • Consistently exhibits a constructive and unobtrusive work attitude, a readiness to accept and adhere to instructions from the department supervisor, and the capability to work autonomously • OSHA 10 certification is highly preferred; it will be required within the first 60 days of employment Compensation: $17 - $30 hourly DOE
