Parts Counter Person – Perris, CA

The Parts Counter Person is responsible for the receiving, storing and issuing of parts in an accurate, prompt manner. Under the direction of the Parts Manager, promote the sale of our products and assist customers with their parts need.

• Client is looking for a Parts Counter Person that specializes in Caterpillar equipment.
• Position is full time, and you will be put right to work at the shop located in Perris, CA.
• Candidate will be responsible for looking up and ordering Cat parts for our field mechanics.
• Knowledge working with Caterpillar SIS 2.0 is a plus.

This is a full-time position with daily overtime and paid weekly.

Responsibilities

• The parts master will provide quality customer satisfaction by courteously assisting customers as quickly as possible.
• Answer/call customers to fill parts orders or update order status, give price quotes and availability.
• Listen to evaluate and resolve customer problems or complaints, seeking supervisor's assistance when necessary.

Wages

Starting wage for a parts master will depend on experience and education. $23.50 - $28.47

Qualifications

Ideal parts master qualifications, high school diploma or general education degree (GED) and 5-7 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
